I booked this on a whim from someone that couldn't go. Good price with a dog. Wouldn't recommend if you have a dog use to off-lead walking. Bed is on a balcony which isn't good if your dog is use to sleeping by your bed. Owner didn't even come out to say hello and check everything was ok. I have a very obedient border collie and he wasn't able to sit on the grass without a lead. I went to walk, relax with my dog and complete a masters assignment.

Lovely weekend away in this beautiful cottage! Perfect place to retreat to in the middle of nowhere and relax in front of the fire. Lovely grounds for the dog to play about in too.

Lovely self catering. Great weather, and a vintage tractor rally today for additional local colour!

Really nice cottage / lodge. Fantastic location in the valley. Lovely inside and out. Great host! Deborah & Andrew really nice people n let you get on with it as long as you follow the small set of rules. The hot tub is fantastic and can be used throughout the day till late at night 11pm in most cases. Only downside is the basic tv Channels & dodgy wifi signal due to location n the flies...theres plenty of them! BUT you are in the countryside and that is to be expected. P.s the 2 dogs are very welcoming as well. Big thumbs up, would go again without a doubt

Absolutely lovely home to retreat to. Fantastic hospitality, hosts and food. The farm house is beautiful and an ideal place to go if your in need of some peace and quiet. I would highly recommend this b&b and we will be visiting again some time.

We stayed here for 4 days so we could go walking and have a quiet place to relax. The little cottage is lovely, quiet, comfy & cosy it is in the middle of nowhere the nearest pub is 2 miles away so it's great if you want total relaxation but can feel a little remote if you don't. The hot tub not a brilliant one and had pollen floating in it but was a nice place to be after a long walk. The place would be amazing if they had a little welcome pack and put the heating on so it was warm when you arrive as was freezing when we arrived, also the cushions could have done with a change. Don't let these little things put you off. I think is would be great for a romantic weekend for when you want to hide from the world. Phone signal poor and wifi patchy.

Very peaceful. Only EE and 3 networks available so making a call requires a mile long walk uphill - worth it for the stunning views though! Do take care on the stairs at night as the handrail finishes sooner than the stairs do and my wife has taken a fall on both occasions that we've stayed.
